Demand for electricity in high-energy-consuming industries may continue to grow

Recently, the National Energy Administration released statistics on the national power industry in the first half of this year. From January to June this year, the country’s primary industry power consumption was 47.5 billion kWh, an increase of 5.9%; the secondary industry power consumption was 1.66 trillion kWh, a year-on-year increase 11.7%, the tertiary industry used 238.4 billion kWh of electricity, an increase of 15.3%.
